Museum of Australian Democracy

The Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House plays a significant role in exploring and communicating the intrinsic value of democracy - the capacity for people to govern their own lives and have their say. From its location in the heart of the national capital, the museum embraces opportunities to connect communities and encourage participation.

Prime ministers feature extensively in MoAD's public programs including exhibitions, collections, tours and learning programs. MoAD is home to the Australian Prime Ministers Centre, the national centre for research on Australian prime ministers.
